Description
Cheek waxing is a method for removing unwanted cheek hair using melted wax. Warm or hot wax is applied to the skin, a strip of cloth is placed on top, and the wax and hair are quickly removed.
Treatment Steps:
1. Preparation: The skin is cleansed and degreased. Talc is sometimes applied to improve the wax's adhesion to the hair.
2. Waxing: Heated wax is applied to the skin in the direction of hair growth.
3. Waxing: A strip of cloth is placed over the wax and quickly removed in the opposite direction of hair growth.
4. Finishing: Wax residue is removed with a special oil or lotion, followed by the application of a conditioning treatment.
Advantages:
* Long-lasting effects (up to several weeks).
* Hair removal at the root, which slows hair growth and causes it to become thinner.
* Smoother skin than after shaving.
Disadvantages:
* Slight pain during the treatment, especially during the first few sessions.
* Redness and irritation of the skin may occur after treatment.
* For effective hair removal, it is necessary to allow the hair to grow to a certain length (usually 3–5 mm).
Recommendations:
* Prepare your skin with a gentle exfoliation before treatment.
* Avoid heat treatments (hot baths, saunas) and sun exposure after treatment.
* Use soothing and moisturizing products after hair removal.
