Is the use of ENVIRON Vitamin A products safe during pregnancy?

Although ENVIRON believes that it is safe to use both during pregnancy and during lactation, we do not recommend some vitamin A products active during this particular period, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy.

It is recommended to reduce the amount of topical vitamin A during pregnancy by 1 to 2 levels, as the skin may be more sensitive during this period. If you feel uncomfortable with the vitamin A products in the first trimester, discontinue the products and start again at the low level after the first trimester. If there are any doubts about the application, please consult with your doctor.
